The opening episode and scenes were great. That's all I have to say about it.

Sounds like the butchery MTV did with Shannara years ago. Whoever came up with the intro knew the books. Whoever ran the show was given a cliffnotes of book two out of twenty nine by an assistant while getting their butthole waxed.
