My favourite is "the quicker I get off this call the quicker I can fix this."
I had this exchange once at work. I promise all attempts at smoother communication failed before I was forced to answer their line of questioning literally.
"Why hasn't this been fixed yet?"
"I'm currently blocked from fixing this"
"By what?"
"By the fact that I'm in this meeting"
I really hate incident response meetings while the incident is happening. Because they are never just one meeting, everyone wants a pre meeting and post meeting all which cut into resolution times.
In our internal RFO I have started adding meetings into the response timeline to show how much time they waste.
