Kind of makes you wonder how many shootings get quietly thwarted. Not just "guy in a roof not allowed to bring gun" kind of situations but also "weirdo posts anti-trump stuff on Lemmy and isn't allowed to attend".

I know the kidnapping attempt on the governer was the latter and publicized but who knows if they let the media know about all of them. There's a lot of freaking people capable of this stuff in a country full of guns.
