Comic Strips is a community for those who love comic stories.
The rules are simple:
- The post can be a single image, an image gallery, or a link to a specific comic hosted on another site (the author's website, for instance).
- The comic must be a complete story.
- If it is an external link, it must be to a specific story, not to the root of the site.
- You may post comics from others or your own.
- If you are posting a comic of your own, a maximum of one per week is allowed (I know, your comics are great, but this rule helps avoid spam).
- The comic can be in any language, but if it's not in English, OP must include an English translation in the post's 'body' field (note: you don't need to select a specific language when posting a comic).
- Politeness.
- Adult content is not allowed. This community aims to be fun for people of all ages.

I kinda agree, but on the other hand, The Oatmeal is one of the funniest and most prolific web comics out there, so it's one of those rare instances where I don't mind.
They're (Netflix) probably trying to replicate the success of Strange Planet on Apple TV.
Except the creator is a major douche who took advantage of his sleazy SEO skills to make it prolific.
Sauce please?

Ok, that's literally a bad website, and they criticize him for bad art. I'm no graphic designer, but they should higher one. And the "source" is just another sourceless statement.
That’s not the only site talking about him, but it was convenient to find and touched on everything.
Hilarious.
“This site is trash and makes tons of unsourced claims.”
“Well, this is only ONE of the MYRIAD sites I COULD have given you. It was somehow more “convenient” for me to give you this one than any of the other reputable sites to which I’m referring.”
Dang someone takes art criticism to a new level.
This nonsense still floating around all these years later.
So, dude makes art on the internet and wanted to use his output to create a revenue stream for himself? Shocking, how dare he. Randall Munroe got popular doing xkcd, and now he's written books just to further make a name for himself. A damning indictment.
No. This is Patrick.
Also, it's an ad written like an academy speech or a thank-you note by a great guy. You don't see that often so I'd let it slide.
So what?
Report it.
