What exactly are portacabins¿?
It's like a little mobile temporary office. Imagine a small residential trailer, but at a building site and with a construction foreman using it as his office.
Whenever I think of them I see small, drafty stand-alone offices sitting in top of breeze blocks and with dents in the walls and cheap shitty vinyl siding walls. I'm sure there are different sizes and levels of comfort for them. And that Man United would get decent ones for their ladies. But even still, it's a big downgrade for them from the nice permanent changing rooms they are used to.
So will the women's team use the gym, cardio and other training facilities present in their permanant facilities while using the portacabins as locker rooms amd changing rooms or will even the fitness training facilities used by the women's team be shifted to a portacabins while the men use the fitness training facilities in the women's permanant facility¿?
Good questions. Hopefully it's only the changing facilities that they are losing for 12 months. I mean, that alone sucks and would be demoralizing for them. But losing all their facilities would be even worse.
If it is just this, it makes no sense to shift the women. They say that they are shifting the women out in favour of the men for "performance reasons" but what performance advantage do you get by having a closer change rooms¿?
Bruno Fernandes having a dummy spit over a change room would probably be season ending for the club lol
