What is a Tankie?

Basic Rules:

Hate-Speech β You should be familiar with this one already; practically all instances have the same rules on hate speech.
Apologia β (Using the Modern terminology for Apologia) No Defending, Denying, Justifying, Bolstering, or Differentiating authoritarian acts or endeavours, whether be a Pro-CCP viewpoint, Stalinism or any variation of Tankie Ideology.
Revisionism β Downplaying or denying atrocities past and present will result in an immediate ban. Calling Tankies shills, foreign/federal agents, or bots also falls under this rule. Extremists exist. They are real. Do not call them shills or fake users.
Tankies can explain their views but may be criticised or attacked for them. Any slight infraction on the rules above will immediately earn a warning and possibly a ban.
If you're violating instance rules, you'll typically be warned. Continuing poor behaviour after being warned will result in a ban or removal of your comments. Bans typically only last seven days, but repeat infractions will have longer sentences. You may ask to be unbanned.
It's awfully convenient that anything that could possibly lead to criticism of red fash is unacceptable to them.
Disempower the language of an oppressed group, and you disempower the group.
That is pretty accurate. There are a lot of key words that simply cannot be used in political discourse, leaving it almost impossible for advocate for policies that benefits the marginalized. It is a very effective method, as is so often demonstrated.
