My Garmin Forerunner 245 did exactly the same thing to my wrist when I got it, ended up having to change the band.

What did you change the band to?

Was a few years ago now (I've since moved on to an Apple Watch with zero band issues), but it was quite literally just some cheapo off-brand thing from a market stall that said it was compatible. I think just the fact that it was more of a fabric band than a silicone-style one was what made the difference.

Sorry that wasn't very helpful :(

But just know that it's definitely a thing with Garmin bands, you're not going crazy.

Thanks for that. I do know it's a garmin thing. It's just odd because I have had a fit bit in the past with no problems. My watch doesn't love me like I love it :(

My old Fitbit had a silicone band, and I've got a silicone band on my Apple Watch, and no issues with either of those. I wonder what it is about the Garmin ones?
