Sorry for being a loser but can someone ELI5? I don’t get it
Ozempic is a new trendy weight loss drug. It's reaching for the Bear community.
To be clear; semaglutide is a legitimate treatment for diabetes and related conditions that has had an amazing impact on people living with those conditions. One effect of the drug is significantly decreased appetite which usually leads to weight loss as well.
But yeah, celebrities started using it to lose weight and suddenly everyone else wants it too.
I've got family members on it for diabetes, it's absolutely life-changing for people with harder to manage blood sugar.
It's FDA-approved for weight loss
lol, makes sense now. I had no idea that bears had their own flag (or tbh even that it’s a community, I thought it was just a facet of gay culture)
