Found on a trail in California, SF Bay Area. About an inch long.

It’s an absolute alien horror, is what it is.

You should look up our Giant weta.

You could nearly put a leash on one and take it for a walk. Completely harmless though

Giant Weta actually looks cute, though. This one, not so much.
