Bird scare tape is supposed to help, but haven't used it myself.
Huh... never seen this, I'll have to check it out. Got some wild black berries I'd like to protect too. I try it out on them. Thanks for the idea.
When my parents had a vegetable garden they hung up those tin foil pie pans and it kept most of the birds away.
I've done the pie tins and cds and stuff, results were always wildly inconsistent, but a lot of old timers around here do that.
