Replacement for r/steamdeck_linux.

As Lemmy doesn't have flairs yet, you can use these prefixes to indicate what type of post you have made, eg:

The following is a list of suggested flairs:
[Discussion] - General discussion.
[Help] - A request for help or support.
[News] - News about the deck.
[PSA] - Sharing important information.
[Game] - News / info about a game on the deck.
[Update] - An update to a previous post.
[Meta] - Discussion about this community.

Some more Steam Deck specific flairs:
[Boot Screen] - Custom boot screens/videos.
[Selling] - If you are selling your deck.

These are not enforced, but they are encouraged.

I just bought the 64Gb model and a 2Tb drive (will be about a week to get delivered).

What are some essential accessories to pair with the steam deck?

Others have mentioned this already but the main thing for me was a glass screen protector.

If you get a power bank make sure it's able to charge the deck at full speed. I've heard good things about the Anker 737 but i myself don't have one.

Note for others reading this (not applicable to OP) but glass protectors aren't recommended for the 512GB model. It clashes with the anti-glare coating on the screen and causing the picture to become fuzzy.

If you're on a 64/256 though definitely consider investing in a matte glass screen protector
