Replacement for r/steamdeck_linux.

As Lemmy doesn't have flairs yet, you can use these prefixes to indicate what type of post you have made, eg:

The following is a list of suggested flairs:

[PSA] - Sharing important information.
[Game] - News / info about a game on the deck.

Some more Steam Deck specific flairs:
[Boot Screen] - Custom boot screens/videos.
[Selling] - If you are selling your deck.

These are not enforced, but they are encouraged.

I’ve been playing through the first one and was curious if anyone has tried running the second one on deck yet? Seems like it will probably not run great due to the graphical fidelity.

It works out of the box on my Linux PC with AMD CPU and GPU, and has pretty great dynamic resolution, so it probably works great on the deck.

What cpu and you do you have? Are you getting decent frame rates?

I have a 5800X3D and RX7900XTX and I play at 1440p on high settings. Glancing at Mangohud, I haven't seen a dip below 70fps, and usually hover around 85-95.
