J'ai bien envie d'apprendre la dactylo. L'idée de base, c'était d'apprendre le BÉPO ( https://bepo.fr/wiki/Accueil ), mais je suis tombé sur une autre disposition, plus jeune : Ergo-L. Maintenant j'hésite entre les deux. Il y en a parmi vous qui connaissent et/ou utilisent/ont utilisé l'Ergo-L ?

Not a French speaker,but more than a bit of a keyboard nerd. I can't help but notice how similar the layout is to the English alt layout Colemak, specifically the angle mod version for ISO keyboards. It is cool that this is an official standard layout. Is this planned to replace azerty completely? I don't see many other countries other than France making such a change, but I am excited that French has water looks to be a very good modern layout.

You’re right, it is inspired according to the website by Colemak and Workman :-) .

However, I do not think it’s an official standard; France (more precisely, the French part of the ISO and the Ministry of Culture) officially proposed a few years ago a revision of the AZERTY. The normal AZERTY is a very bad disposition, you can’t even type some letters of the French alphabet and typography, the “new AZERTY” is far better in this regard, but still not ergonomic.

BÉPO has been normalised by AFNOR so it is standard.

ErgoL isn't standard by any definition.

Impossible que ça soit inspiré par Colemak puisque ça ne respecte pas les raccourcis clavier. Copier coller semble une galère, pareil pour fermer une fenêtre ou chercher du texte.

Sinon je suis dev et très content du Colemak : supporté par tous les OS, excellent pour le dev, permet de faire des accents facilement.

À part le C, les autres lettres m'ont l'air d'être à leur place.

Ctrl+C/V : galère. Sinon il manque W et F comme je disait. Le principe du Colemak est aussi de conserver des raccourcis clavier quotidien. Au doigt mouillé, en tant que dev je dois faire des raccourcis clavier (à une main) au moins 2 fois par minute donc 100 fois par heure c'est à dire 800 fois par jour. Le Colemak m'apporte un comfort sans compliquer les détails de ce genre.
