I am but a simple person. Someone please explain why we need a law to exonerate innocent people?

Prime Minister Rishi Sunak says the government will bring in a new law to "swiftly exonerate and compensate victims" of the Post Office scandal Under the plans, victims will be able to sign a form to say they are innocent in order to have their convictions overturned and claim compensation

As you get older, everyone seems to get young. I can't imaging having so much responsibility at 34!

"As the social media landscape ebbs and flows, the team at BBC Research & Development are researching social technologies and exploring possibilities for the BBC. One part of our work is to establish a BBC presence in the distributed collection of social networks known as the Fediverse, a collection of social media applications all linked together by common protocols. The most common software used in this area is Mastodon, a Twitter-like social networking service with around 2 million active monthly users. We are now running an experimental BBC Mastodon server at https://social.bbc where you can follow some of the BBC’s social media accounts, including BBC R&D, Radio 4 and 5 Live. We hope to be able to add more accounts from other areas of the BBC at some point."

New legislation would require the company to remind Disney+ customers of their subscriptions.

I can't say I'm a fan of it, I think it's cop out rather then a true attempt to improve public transport around the Greater London area, but at least it's something (unless it gets cancelled or only partially completed which is always something you shouldn't count out with TFL)? Will you see yourself using it? What's your thoughts?
