It's been weeks and days since i've done this type of topic, though it's finally time again to do this. Whereas a Lot of 64 and Melee as well as a decent amount of Brawl Veterans are super problematic in execution, Smash 4 Veteran Roster is not like that (for the most part). Almost every Smash 4 newcomer is done well (again, for the most part) and a lot of the ones I would change only have incredibly minor changes such as a single move or an aesthetic change like new alternate costumes.

Now then, Let's again get started.

Villager:

No Changes.

Mega Man:

1.Jab - Quick Boomerang: Fires three boomerangs.

2.Dash Attack - Pile Driver: Rams into opponents with a jackhammer drill, which shoves them off with an explosion.

3.Side Tilt - Tengu Blade: Throws a blade projectile.

4.Side Smash - Drill Bomb: Fires a Drill Bomb, then the drill bomb explodes.

5.Neutral Aerial - Top Spin: Spins around.

6.Forward Aerial - Rolling Cutter: Shoots a scissor-like projectile forward.

7.Forward Throw - Ice Slasher: Fires an arrowhead-shaped blade of ice that freezes opponents, dealing ice damage.

8.Back Throw - Needle Cannon: Shoots needles out of his cannon.

9.Up Throw - Knight Crusher: Fires a spike ball upwards that then comes back to him.

10.Down Throw - Black Hole Bomb: Shoots out a Black Hole, which sucks the opponents into it.

11.Neutral Special: Energy Shot/Charged Shot are moved here and they are the tapped and held versions respectively.

12.Side Special - Shadow Blade: Throws the Shadow Blade like it's a boomerang, then it comes back.

13.Down Special - Jewel Satellite: Summons jewels that orbit around himself & can reflect projectiles as well as thrown at his opponents.

14.Final Smash - Super Adaptor Mega Man: Combines Himself with Rush, then fires a large blast from his cannon.

Wii Fit Trainer:

No Changes.

Rosalina & Luma:

1.Luma gets an orange coloration.

Little Mac:

1.Gets a 3 Stars Meter in his gimmick instead of the Power Meter.

2.Side Special - Dash Punch: Dashes forward. If he runs into his target, he'll deliver a devastating punch.

3.Up Special - Flying Uppercut: Performs an uppercut that sends him flying into the air.

17.Up Throw - U-Turn: Jumps in the air with the opponent, flips, then slams them on the ground behind it.

18.Neutral Special - Water Shuriken: Remains although it now forms immediately and fires automatically instead of being charged.

19.Side Special - Shadow Sneak: Remains although it is now faster but weaker instead.

20.Up Special - Bounce: Bends down & pushes off the ground with great force, gaining supernatural height, gets back, bouncing on opponents or just simply landing on the battlefield.

21.Down Special - Mat Block: Raises the Mat Block, reflecting projectiles.

7.Up Special - Rexcalibur: Raises their arms, summoning a vortex of spinning blue-green air around them and going upwards and carrying them with it.

11.Up Special - Spin Jump: Jumps upwards, then spins around back downward, can also meteor spike opponents.

12.Down Special - Dual Strike: Charges, then summons allies from the future.

12.1.Charge might be a quick, short-range slash that doesn’t do a lot of damage but a goodly amount of knock-back to get more aggressive opponents away from you. Owain, Inigo, and Severa would be good for this position.

12.2.Charge might be a more powerful, though slower and with less knock-back, attack that reaches just past the range of Shield Breaker. Kjelle and Yarne would be good for this position

12.3.Charge might have the longest range but middling power and the least knock-back. Morgan, Laurent, and Noire would be good for this position.

13.Final Smash - Great Lord Lucina: Throws the Master Seal forward as she says "Time to change fate!", transforms into her Great Lord form & swiping at any caught opponent with a flurry of sword swings & ending with an uppercut swing before turning back to normal.

Shulk:

1.I'd change his face to make it look better and more-accurate. Lots of people really seem to hate it.

2.Neutral Special: Monado Eater and Monado Purge are now added in.

Previously, I covered all of the changes I'd make to the Smash 64 characters and the Melee characters, which means that now, it's time for me to look at all of the Brawl characters and think about the changes I'd make to their movesets. I honestly think Sakurai did a better job with the brawl fighter roster compared to the ones of Smash 64 and Melee. Just like before, while moves are the primary things being changed, I'll also list changes made to alternate costumes, animations such as taunts and victory poses, etc.

Meta Knight:

1.Dash Attack - Piercing Slash: Dashes forward and performs a lunge with his sword, hitting multiple times.

2.Side Tilt - Meta Triple Slash: Performs a sequence of 3 sword slashes: an inward slash, followed by an outward slash, followed by an overhead slash.

3.Up Tilt - Up Thrust: Thrusts his sword into the air.

4.Down Tilt - Slide Kick: Performs a forward slide Kick.

9.Forward Aerial - Meta Chop: Slashes his sword in a downward arc.

10.Back Aerial: Performs a powerful horizontal slash with his sword.

11.Up Aerial - Up Thrust: Performs an Upwards thrust in the air.

12.Down Aerial - Down Thrust: Points his sword to the ground as he plummets downwards. Can meteor smash opponents as he is falling downwards.

13.Forward Throw: kicks the opponent forward, knocking them away.

14.Side Special - Charges up the Galaxia with energy (with his wings transforming into his cape) and then he disappears before reappearing, performing the Meta Spin Slash (only this time, he spins once). The move activates when the special button is released.

15.Up Special: Goes to its brawl version, however it can no longer be cancelled into an aerial.

16.Down Special - Galactic Counter: Assumes a defensive stance to retaliate against incoming attacks. He reels back to avoid it, then rushes forward and slashes.

17.Final Smash - Upper Calibur: Slashes the ground before raising it up to hit the opponent and if he succeeds, he will do a flurry of Slashes before striking the opponent downwards.

Previously, I covered all of the moveset changes I'd give to the 12 Smash 64 characters, so I decided to move onto the next game in the series, Melee. Many agree that just like Smash 64, there are still a lot of characters have more problems and are more problematic in execution compared to the newer fighters, so i'd figure give them changes that fit them properly. Figure I'll try and remember to toss the Techmas videos up here since this community is pretty dead. Maybe it will spawn some conversation.

Nintendo just released these guidelines around running a “community” tournament. In other words, an unlicensed tournament. Limiting the player cap to 200 (300 for online), no profit allowed, entry fees must be under $15 USD, must use Nintendo online servers (no Slippi), and some other stuff.

Not sure which major tournaments from this last year had a license and which didn’t, but I remember the Smash World Tour fiasco and Panda’s implosion. I know Hbox said he’s going to try to keep running Coinbox until Nintendo themselves tells him to stop in writing, but I wonder how this will affect other big TOs. How many of them are still trying to sneak under the radar unlicensed?

Honestly, it’s BS how Nintendo treats their competitive communities

Sorry for the picture of a screen but there's no way I'm taking my SD card out just for this.

Just a general question for people who are playing more than just occasionally. I'm trying to learn the game enough to at least take part in local events/tournaments as a way to develop a hobbie and meet people, but I'm not sure how to go from just dabbling to actually becoming decent.
I went through the "Art of Smash" video series on Youtube, and now I just play online in public arenas with random characters to get familiar with them, but it doesn't feel like it's really helping get better, mainly because of the online being so bad (even on a 2Gbps fibre connection it feels like I'm playing in slomo).
What do you guys do to become better?

Reward from backing the original project. Good to have the collection complete. Re-watch (and a first watch of Metagame) might be in order.
