Houston is getting closer to having one of its key players back.

No player in NFL history has done what Bengals wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase has done to the Ravens this season.

4

The Eagles didn't list quarterback Jalen Hurts on the injury report last year despite a large brace on his knee for much of the season and it looks like they may have been less than fully transparent about the quarterback's health again this year.

5

When Ravens safety Kyle Hamilton was injured late in the first half, it looked like it might be the start of a long absence for a key member of the defense in Baltimore.

The star quarterback is driving and elevating the offense with his playmaking in the passing game.

The Ravens pass defense had another rough night against the Bengals on Thursday.

"I feel like that was just a heat of the moment for me," Branch said. "And I apologize to everyone that seen that. That won’t happen again."

The Panthers have agreed to a four-year extension with running back Chuba Hubbard, the team announced Thursday.

Wide receiver Mike Williams was traded from the Jets to the Steelers this week and the move didn't come as a great surprise given the way his brief time with the AFC East team played out.

This is an objective, unbiased ranking in the same vein as the NFL Title Belt. As such, the number 1 ranked team will always be the same as the current NFL Title Belt holder.

Sorry for the delay. This is only based on the week 8 results, not the TNF game.

This is Week 9 of the NFL Title Rankings of the 2024 season. See here for last week’s rankings.

9 of the 15 games were upsets. Two of those games resulted in 18 spot jumps.

The Chiefs beat the Bucs to keep the NFL Title Belt and first ranking. The Chiefs will hold the NFL Title Belt until their first loss of the 2024 season. The Broncos will have a chance to take the title belt this Sunday.

The Titans beat the Patriots to move out of last. With the Saints' loss to the Panthers, the Saints are now last. The Saints will have a chance to move out from last when they play the Falcons.

Let me know if you’d like to see more of this, if you’re curious about how I came up with these rankings, or if you noticed any mistakes.

This ranking assumes that there are never any fluke games and all teams are appropriately ranked. If you beat a team that is higher ranked than you, you move ahead of them and they move down one spot. However, other teams can jump in front of teams that are higher ranked than you, moving you further down the rankings.
