The latest set in Disney Lorcana, Archazia's Island, will launch later this March, but the decklists for the two new starter decks have been released. Like previous Lorcana set releases, Archazia's Island will feature two Starter Decks: Amethyst & Steel and Ruby & Sapphire.

Archazia’s Island is Disney Lorcana’s seventh expansion and features characters from Bolt, Lady and the Tramp, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, Alice in Wonderland, Mulan, and 101 Dalmatians.

Continuing the oceanic theme established by Azurite Sea, Archazia’s Island will be primarily focused on the beloved animal characters from the franchises mentioned above. Additionally, Archazia’s Island is the first set to feature Dual-Ink cards.

Below you’ll find a gallery containing every card previewed (so far) from Archazia’s Island. This gallery will be updated with the unveiling of each new card, so be sure to bookmark and check back frequently!

Introducing Dual-Ink Cards (www.disneylorcana.com)

Ever since we revealed our good friend Bolt, many of you have speculated that dual-ink cards were coming to Disney Lorcana TCG, and you were right!

When the first character for Disney Lorcana’s upcoming Archazia’s Island set was revealed, it sparked a debate throughout the TCG community. Lorcana’s introduction of Bolt, star of the 2008 animated film of the same name, seemed to have the visual identity of both Amber and Steel characters. Many immediately suspected what we eventually learned: Archazia’s Island will introduce dual-ink cards to the game.

The Disney Lorcana promotion for the new Pack Rush game mode will start on February 9th and will run from then until February 15th. These free packs will be given away in the United States and in Canada, and while only physical locations are eligible sites for the free packs, the Disney Lorcana team has shared a list on the game’s site of all the recognized stores that offer Disney Lorcana products. Unfortunately for those interested in taking part in this promotion, part of the onus is put on the player in that you must “reach out to your local organized play store to see if they are participating.”

In lieu of the typical months-long spoiler season for the upcoming set, Ravensburger has instead revealed the next three sets early. At last month’s European Continental Championship we learned about Archazia’s Island and the set that follows it in June, Reign of Jafar, and this week at London Toy Fair we learned the name of the Q3 2025 set: Fabled.

Why give us so many details about this year’s upcoming sets rather than focus on March’s Archazia’s Island? Why this sudden change in reveal strategy? Well, without any new cards to overanalyze, let’s dive way too deep into my wild theory about what these three upcoming expansions are setting up.

Disney Lorcana is getting ready to release its seventh set, Archazia’s Island. Archazia’s Island will be the third set since Ursula’s Return and will likely continue to build on the hints from Shimmering Skies and Azurite Sea about Jafar’s nefarious plans. These plot beats are set to come to a head with the Reign of Jafar set later this year. In addition to continuing Lorcana’s ongoing narrative, Archazia’s Island is also set to introduce some exciting new Glimmers to the game, some for characters that have yet to appear in Lorcana.

Archazia’s Island will focus heavily on Disney’s pet characters, so fans of the media giant's many animal protagonists or sidekicks will likely be interested in this set. The set’s tagline, “learn new tricks,” also has players speculating that some new mechanics will be revealed in the set. Spoilers for new Lorcana cards usually come out closer to a set’s release, so anyone hungry for more information on Archazia’s Island should be paying attention to the set’s release dates to know when new reveals should be expected.

Though there's been no official confirmation for a video game version of Disney's Lorcana, there have been signs pointing toward its active development. LorcanaNews posted on X yesterday to share a recent job listing on Indeed that included a few interesting candidate preferences.

With such a focus on in-person, competitive play, it’s curious to see a different trend just on the horizon. TCGs are starting to embrace solo or cooperative play more and more, and I’m intrigued to see where it goes through 2025.

Disney Lorcana doesn't have a digital version - outside the fan-created Pixelborn - and that is a genuine shame. Mobile versions of TCGs especially tend to do extremely well from both a commercial standpoint and as a streamlined onboarding process for new players. A free-to-play version of an already extremely expensive hobby allows those who aren't willing to splash a lot of cash on a TCG they may not like to give it a try.

Ravensburger has revealed the next set of releases for the Disney Lorcana Trading Card Game: the pet-themed Archazia’s Island, available in Starter Displays, Booster Boxes, and the Illumineer’s Trove starting March 22.

The Disney Lorcana TCG: Archazia’s Island Starter Display will include eight Starter Decks, each deck having 60 game cards and 11 tokens along with a single Booster Pack.

With the release of Azurite Sea in November 2024, there are currently six Lorcana sets. The current gap between sets is about three or four months. While not as breakneck a pace as games like the Pokémon Trading Card Game - which this year released eight main series expansion sets and four special expansion sets - Lorcana still has a healthy amount of new cards to keep players interested. As of now, 2025 will be giving players two full new sets and some additional releases to go along with them.

If you’re cracking packs to find the most valuable cards in the set, you’re going to want to know what to look for. While there are plenty of high-value enchanted cards in the set, they’re pretty rare compared to most other cards, which is why we took a look at everything that’s in the non-enchanted rarities to find the slightly more obtainable cards that will still fetch a pretty penny.

This deck is built around the Inventor card type, using Robots and Items to power up the team and potentially quest for huge amounts of lore in a single turn. While it can be unfocused at times, knowing how to play will help you come up with a crafty solution to your opponent.
