To celebrate the upcoming release of Dawntrail, the FINAL FANTASY XIV Online Store will be hosting the Adventure Jump Start Sale! For a limited time, job-level boosts and scenario skip items will be on sale for 50% off starting Friday, May 31 around 1:00 a.m. (PDT).

Edit: Maintenance is done and the store is back up. It's still story skips to the end of Shadowbringers and level skips to level 80. So if you're prepping a new character for DT you'll still need to complete Endwalker.

As many of you likely know, the character creator in the benchmark didn't actually feature the new lighting engine, so they're working on an updated version alongside dawntrail itself - pretty huge difference side by side here as seen in the live letter update!

Apparently an updated benchmark tool will be released at the end of the month/beginning of June for people to test out ahead of Dawntrail, with many fixes in tow (including the lala dolphin teeth, lol)

Discuss the announced job changes, especially Monk will get bigger rework, Astrologian's cards won't be random anymore and so on. I personally like it, because Monk felt like an overly convoluted class with these overarching debuffs. And otherwise it is QoL improvements, even if the naysayers will as always denounce it as a carebear design.

Aorzia has gotten a bit stale lately, hasn't it?
