This is a community for posting or discussing 3D images using the crossview technique. There is another community for the Parallel View technique and also one for Anaglyph 3D using red/blue glasses.

Diverging my eyes is very easy and painless. Crossing my eyes kinda hurts.

This is probably because I'm nearsighted and don't use my glasses when using my phone and instead hold my phone 20cm from my face. They're already crossed from doing that and crossing them even more is difficult.

Diverging your eyes is how magic eye posters work.

I just found out that the Getty museum released a lot of artwork into the open domain, including quite a few stereographs. These are meant to be viewed with a stereoscope, but I’ve found they work amazingly well in crossview.
