At the turn of the century, the following letter was sent to Dr. Laura, a US radio personality who regularly and publicly deemed homosexuality to be a “mistake of nature.” A copy of the letter soon reached the masses, and now we bring it to you.

Comedian and writer Sara Pascoe joined us to read it at Letters Live at London's Royal Albert Hall in March 2023.

I was laughing and laughing at this. The private family gathering part is my favorite.

Incidentally, the whole channel is amazing. Live readings by notable people of interesting letters of all sorts. Apparently it's produced by Benedict Cumberbatch. He does read more letters than anyone else on the site.

“President Biden has declared tomorrow—Easter Sunday—as ‘Transgender Day of Visibility.’ This once again shows how little respect President Biden and his administration have for God. “On the most significant day of the Christian calendar, when the Church around the world celebrates the resurrection of Jesus Christ who died and shed His blood for the sins …

The author is a "48er", one of the people in Germany who were exiled after the Revolutions of 1848. There's some really interesting stuff here.

Could Trump's attempt to pander to evangelicals backfire? We can only hope.

People in the U.S. are leaving and switching faith traditions in large numbers. The idea of "religious churning" is very common in America, according to a new survey from the Public Religion Research Institute (PRRI).

It finds that around one-quarter (26%) of Americans now identify as religiously unaffiliated, a number that has risen over the last decade and is now the largest single religious group in the U.S. That's similar to what other surveys and polls have also found, including Pew Research.
