This is pretty nifty. Eugene has some very nice (and underrated) museums.

Awesome Grindcore Show at Sam Bond's Garage Tomorrow!

Heyy it's been a while since I posted to the @eugene community!

I just wanted to let you all know about a show I'm excited for! It's at Sam Bond's Garage tomorrow (Tuesday, March 26th) at 6 PM, with $10 admission. For more info, check out their calendar.

I've never seen pink fawn lillies before, so it was really cool to see them. They're blooming at Mt. Pisgah. Saw a few trillium blooming, but most hadn't blossomed yet.

By the way, I really don't like the name LUBE IT USA anyway.

First of all, lube what, exactly? That's kind of personal, isn't it?

Or does it mean lube everything? That'd be terrible! Nothing would get done, everything and everyone would just be sliding all over the place and falling down and slipping everywhere.

Also, it's very demanding, LUBE IT, USA! RIGHT NOW! AND THAT'S AN ORDER! I don't like being told what to do by my lube.

Bill SB1596 has passed the house and senate and was sponsored by two Eugene reps: House Rep Holvey and Senatator Prozanski.

The legislature has no business reversing a citizen ballot initiative. The entire point of ballot initiatives is to enable citizens to go over the heads of the legislature, it is a check on their power. We are very fortunate in Oregon to have that right, many states do not. But that check on their power is useless if they can just reverse whatever gets voted on.

Remember that ranked choice voting is coming up as a ballot initiative as well, which is something both parties have great incentive to reverse. If there's one thing Democrats and Republicans can agree on, it's that they don't want competition from any other parties.

If public opinion shifted so hard against M110, they should have sent a revised version of M110 or a reversal back to ballot.
