It warms my heart too when artists will stop shows because they can tell someone in the audience is in trouble.

I've been watching Demon Slayer. While I don't enjoy the pacing as much. It's still pretty good. I read the manga entirely after season 2 came out. And while I liked it. I am hopeful the anime can rectify certain decisions.

It was grueling. I don't think I can stomach going to another festival again because of the prior experiences. It was reminiscent of the behavior when people got trampled to death at Travis Scott's show awhile back. Thankfully no one in my situation died. But the pushing/shoving that people were doing was very dangerous.

Overrated: Interstellar. Let me just say it is a really good movie. I love watching it on my OLED. But a lot of people do overrate it in my opinion.

Underrated: The Crow. Something about the 90s charm really appeals to me. It doesn't have the strongest effects. But Brandon Lee was great (RIP).

I made an account on kbin but it isn't vibing yet. So far, both this and lemmy.ml as well as Tildes have been the ones to step so far in this early period of trying new things out.

Exactly, I've been to metal shows like I said and have felt fine. And those generally have a lot of physicality. But not brutality. When it treads into the realm of brutality or abuse it is just hard to justify.

I see what you mean. Admittedly, I'm not even 24 hours on here or Lemmy or Tildes. I'm just searching and hoping one sticks.

You sound a lot like my use-case lol

I also main a Mac for computing. And the other Linux and Windows PCs I have are not gaming machines in the slightest. Since my reservation in July 2021, I went from around 3 games on Steam. To nearly 150.

I'm just excited that the portable gaming PC space is growing. Steam Deck has some real competition now in the space. I had always dreamed of some day owning one but the pricing was more than I could justify.

Boost was the Android Reddit client I used the most. I thought it was great. I also liked Sync a bunch too. I paid for both and would rotate between them. But something about Apollo just stuck with me.

I like watching AfroSenju, I think his personality is pretty hilarious. Though I only watching him once in awhile because sometimes the humor is just a little too one note. I also like Throne to watch Madden being a shitshow for free instead actually paying for it. But he has not posted in about a month and he sounded pretty fed up with the game at this point. I don't like other Madden YouTubers but he also reps Minnesota sports so I appreciate that as Minnesota native and sports fan.

Oh yeah, I'm totally down for that if it helps more people get to use it. It is a great machine. I love my Steam Deck. I was lucky and got my reservation within about 5-10 minutes. So I got mine within a month of release. I've been using Chiaki4Deck to use Remote Play on my PS5 downstairs and it works great. But it's also been great for re-exploring a lot of 360/PS3 era games that had PC versions and controller support. A lot of those look great on a handheld to this day.

Totally valid, I am concerned that they will try and kill old reddit and RES. RES devs sounded unsure if they will be affected by the API changes. If a Reddit result comes up on a Google search I'm not going to not click on it just because it is a Reddit URL. But they definitely won't get a cent from me.
