I work for a manufacturing company and sometimes go onto the factory floor, think about this song almost every time.

The first time I heard this, I had to play it for my wife who loves The Cure. Lovingly referred to as "the most 80s song ever." Also reminiscent of Depeche Mode.

Beautiful song, nearly brings me to tears.

This song is lightning in a bottle.

I know the album was technically released by Danny Elfman, but I think most people agree it's an Oingo Boingo album.

The line "I should know, I've been hit three times (or was it four?)" sounds like a possible reference to his three previous albums with Oingo Boingo and also a dig at IRS for dropping the band and/or MCA for only offering a solo contract.

One of their more esoteric songs, sounds a bit spooky

I wasn't around at the time, but I feel like this would have been the radio hit from this album.

Since it's the third day, I thought it would be fun to post what I call "the 3 3s". The third track of the first three albums are some of the best.

Fun song, got me to read The Island of Doctor Moreau.

Really interesting exploration of isolation.

I identify with these lyrics.

I recently got into Oingo Boingo, but the subreddit is private.

I couldn't find a good place to discuss them, so I made one.

I think this song is about being intoxicated. All the lines are goofy and I interpret the chorus as “let’s skip work and get high."

The part that really gave me this idea is

"Have you seen my garden

It is most peculiar

Have you seen my garden

Nothing there that grows

Looks anything at all like plants

I hear their voices . . ."
