@[email protected] Was already clear that they won't be holding an instance for building an understanding environment, but another boasting outlet. First of all, @[email protected] doesn't even have ANYTHING to boast about, because they've ruined everything there was to ruin.

I certainly don't mind if they skip PLvsAA, since it's so non-canon and gathering an interorganizational team now seems a bit late. Surely, people aren't going to wait untill all previous Layton games and Ace Attorney crossover get ported, to experience AA7.
Right, so, I have this issue where even if I follow magazine's group from Mastodon, it does not necessarily trigger anything on Kbin to make the Mastodon post appear in Microblog section.
Here is my magazine: https://kbin.melroy.org/m/drbboard/microblog/newest
And here is the post: https://techhub.social/@vintprox/111108832486309659
@ernest Will past microblog posts be federated automatically or we'll need to post again to appear on Kbin?
I gave #Kbin another try, took a less popular instance without Cloudflare, create a magazine with appropriate tags in settings.
When I go and make a post on Mastodon with one of those tags AND even mention the group where magazine resides (just in case), but nothing makes the post appear on Kbin.
You can imagine my disappointment, as I promoted the shit out of Kbin prematurely and how it's suppoed to fetch remote posts - NOPE, doesn't work. 🤔 😔

Yaaay, time to really push that SearX/alternative-search-engine crusade, because there is more reason for a user to say "fuck you" to the hungry machine.

Maaaan, I just was searching for a good instance to jump into from #LemmyWorld. Hello, @geddit!
@thibaultamartin has mentioned that they are working on a better instance picker for #Matrix.
Meanwhile, the choice is but a bunch of curated lists and arbitrary metrics from which you infer if the server is worth going with or not: rules in place, general international hosting, registration through in-house Element or SSO, latest version of software, and (most importantly) sustainability.
If you know that admin can hang on until you're able to donate yourself, it's a world of difference from those "lolicon servers" because host takes it seriously.
@shinnoodles So, here's my personal favorite: https://techhub.social/@vintprox/109432716734526087
There is even a table explaining why I chose this particular instance for our group.
@Katana314 A friend has recommended me #PaperPerjury, and it looks like #AceAttorney on steroids, I love it!
I welcome your attention to detail such as combinatoric dialogs. I get why AA games don't usually pay it any heed, but there are moments where it's inappropriately lazy, taking an idea of the player digging the game's logic to an extreme...
