Timeshift makes all the difference, no more panicking after breaking something.
I had a university lecturer who would talk on such a complex level I'd just fall asleep from confusion. Turns out he used to be a Gentoo dev. Figures.
history | grep {some part of command}
Much more useful for going further back, even without grep.
Trepang2 is insane, just playing the demo has been the best FPS experience I've had since half life alyx. And if I'm honest, even more intense than hl:a too.
I'm having to counter the intensity by also playing firewatch, lol.
Came here to find out if anyone else had commented on this insanity, glad it's just a bug - it makes it almost unusable.
Ah really? I actually find it difficult to say which season I liked the most, but 5 would have been up there. Or whichever season had the longest "Sheeeiiit.", lol
The Wire. It would probably ruin things but it was too damn good. Some of the best characters' actors have died since unfortunately.
I don't think I've discharged a laptop battery below 80% since 2011..
I've only been back to Reddit a few times since, it was old.reddit via the browser for some niche communities that don't exist on Lemmy. Otherwise I'm making do with the difference in content - I refuse to use that monstrosity they call the official Reddit app.
Using Jerboa for Lemmy, coming from a RIF user it has its flaws but it's a nice enough experience. Decentralised communities really need something to unify the experience in a way that people actually understand (or don't need to understand), so there's a long way to go if Reddit are to be toppled.
Why not jerboa? Works decently well.. EDIT: nevermind, forgot it's not on iOS and mlem isn't great yet
Black mirror... Since season 6 just came out after 4 years, the second episode made me lose some sleep. Also binging band of brothers, which I've somehow never seen.
