I'll have to check it out. I generally just use Steam Link app on my Android tablet, it's lower latency and a smoother experience than AMD Link.

I tried it but wasn't a fan, screen's a bit small for full PC games. Plus, I only have a Nvidia GPU in my general desktop, my main gaming rig is running AMD so it's a bit of a wash.
It works though, so should be fine if you have a Nvidia card.
A lot of handhelds reuse older or lower power chipsets with surplus stock. The S22 should be much more powerful, even if it's the Exynos variant. If it's the Snapdragon variant, it will handle PS2 and Gamecube with no issue, Wii, 3DS, and probably even Switch games (at least what's currently playable on Android).
Just get a good controller. Bluetooth is fine, but if you get something like the Razor Kishi it'll have less latency as it plugs right into the USB-C port. There's probably other similar ones but I haven't used any telescopic controllers in a long time so not sure what's on the market.
The only bad thing I can think of is that since the snapdragon variant is on the SD8 Gen 1 chip, it's known to be prone to overheating on longer sessions, but that's only going to happen with really intensive emulation that pushes it to the limit (mostly highly upscaled PS2, Switch, Gamecube).
Glad to be here, reddit is in full dumpster fire mode.
Kinda sad, I made a post suggesting /r/sbcgaming move over here, but it was not at all well received.
Cool, so it is broken internet. 😁
Lemmy is not Reddit. To my knowledge voting are not fuzzed here, so you’re seeing ten people voted up your comment/post, and one person voted it down.
Or I’m wrong and you broke the internet
Keeps me off Reddit. It’s the state of what’s to come in July anyway, may as well get a preview.
It’s surprisingly good. GPU is a weak point, but most games will run at 2x and the rest at 1.5x.
You have to use “max fps” in the game booster plug-in though, which forces the display to a 1080p equivalent or close to it. Native res is like 1600p and the GPU chokes on it.
The Real Story and Lord Foul's Bane by Stephen Donaldson. The man is so utterly casual about rape as plot progression that it leaves me with serious questions about the author.
It was a nightmare getting this post below the character limit. You're welcome. 😅
Are you the dev? If so, thanks for your work on this. It's much nicer than trying to browse via mobile web, even if it's still incomplete.
GX is pretty cool but F-Zero X will forever be my favorite.
