Having feature-rich apps that provide good user experiences will also be vital. Mlem and Jerboa are both open source, and could likely use contributors

I am also seeing the same issue. It happens after browsing either the All or Subscribed feed after a few minutes. Usually when it happens, I also cannot upvote posts (but can upvote comments in a thread)

I’m using mlem on iOS, and you need to sign up for it on Test Flight. It definitely has some rough edges, given it’s in beta. But hoping with time it’ll get better
The difference in data models and APIs, combined with the amount of features Apollo supported would likely make it a fairly large task.
