I kinda prefer that look honestly with the stretched boxes and thumbnails. Collapse comments is nice on Lemmy but I found that when i was upvoting or refreshing it seemed to lag and take a few seconds. Maybe that’s fixed I’ll go check it out!

I use kbin to VIEW Lemmy content because I prefer the responsiveness and the UI a bit more than Lemmy itself. But choices are good!

Oh cool! The more improvements the better!

For sure Kbin. I keep trying Lemmy from time to time but between the UI and the inconsistent sorting algorithms over there I have chosen to stay here!

That's what makes this whole thing so cool! You get choices and no matter which you choose you get to enjoy everything anyway!

Don't jinx it man!!

Kbin's is much nicer than Lemmy's in my opinion. I think that might be because of how familiar it feels to reddit.

It's such an amazing system! Really impressing me and I plan to stay regardless of what Reddit does!

I'd be curious to see how they would implement something like this. I've come to accept the together but separate concept but it would be cool to have a consolidation of sorts!

I started experimenting with replacing Windows with Linux (mainly EndeavourOS) about 6 months ago and it was great! Gaming worked well enough except for a few games that I would just switch back to Windows for. The only issue: I recently bought two HDR monitors and have gotten so used to that experience that I just can't use Windows right now. As soon as support for that drops, I'm once again switching to Linux as my main!

Mexico, when portrayed in most movies, always has an orange filter overlaying the scene. The meme states that Mexico has finally voted to change "their filter" to purple.

I have to agree with you. It seems to completely defeat the concept of the fediverse for me. I can understand where they are coming from but feels so wrong from the point of this place!
