I've been using a bunch of Kodak 5222 ("Double-X"). I got a bulk roll of it a few years ago, like 130ft for $20. Slightly expired but still pushes great to 400 or shot normally around 200.
Higher sensitivity and I'll go for HP5, but that is getting less common for me nowadays.
I have a partially-built bartop arcade cabinet that I started in high school woodshop and never completed - I thought I was going to jam a full gaming PC with GPU inside. I bought all the expensive things like joysticks and button adapters, but never finished it up as I didn't know what to do for artwork or marquee.
Do you know of any resources where I might be able to re-familiarize myself and finish my cabinet? Would be appreciated :)
Hey, I just picked up a WEGA 32FS320 this week! It's my first non-Commodore-1702 CRT.
Now, if only I had anything that output composite or component laying around... gotta dig out my old PS2 or Xbox.
