To kick things off, here's my current hoard, er, stash:

2x Toshiba Cinema Series 32AX60
Sony WEGA 32FS320
Dell D1626HT
Sun Microsystems GDM-5410
Gateway VX1120
Lacie Electron 22 Blue IV
Dell m783s (acquired at 0h)

I was a big Trinitron advocate for years, but the Toshiba 32AX60 really challenged that notion. It's by far my favorite for 240p.

For 480p/720p/1080p, it's a tossup between the D1626HT and the GDM-5410. Even Switch and PS4 looks solid on those.

Hey, I just picked up a WEGA 32FS320 this week! It's my first non-Commodore-1702 CRT.

Now, if only I had anything that output composite or component laying around... gotta dig out my old PS2 or Xbox.

Nice, the FS320 is a good one. If you play any newer 16:9 content on it (like certain Wii games), be sure to use the "16:9 enhanced" mode for an improved picture. It's a really cool feature that makes 480i look way better than it has any right to!

I’ve got:

  • Sony Trinitron KV-32S45 that I’ve RGB modded.
  • JVC TM-H1375SU
  • Sony PVM-8045Q

I love them all for different purposes! I also have A random Magnavox 27” composite only set that’s sitting in my garage, maybe someday I’ll do something with it, but i can’t be RGB modded sadly.

I currently have:

• Sony Trinitron KV-27S42
• Inteq IQ3297BT

Do either of you happen to know what the differences are between a Toshiba CX32H60 vs 32A60?

I dug up both of their product pages in the Wayback Machine:

CX32H60: http://www.toshiba.com/tacp/tv/CX32H60features.html
32A60: https://web.archive.org/web/20001018024821/http://www.toshiba.com:80/tacp/tv/32A60.html

They seem very similar - the A60 is newer and has a better comb filter. It probably was the direct successor/next revision of the CX32H60 if I had to guess.

(sorry for the multiple replies, this comment isn't showing up for me at all in this thread, only in my 'Comments' tab on my profile)

Thanks, I somehow didn't find that in my search.
