Hard disagree. She stole her dad’s ashes. This is a weird, emotional based family crime. Not sure if this is one event really defines her character or should result in her losing her job.

Total outsider though, I know nothing of Minnesota state politics. I’m just going off what I read in one article.

Do you form all your opinions from headlines?

The mayor is a she.

Now, it’s profitable for the athletes. They should probably be paying their own tuition if they’re bringing in millions in NIL money.

Wouldn’t put it past them doing this as a means to mess with the election.

The recall is an official designation. And yeah, pretty cool with Tesla that a lot of the recalls are done through firmware updates.

If I’m a shareholder, this is news I would want to know about. Just because you don’t care doesn’t mean others feel the same.

Thank you. Nothing worse than scrolling lemmy on my phone at the grocery store or my kids school and having questionable things pop up. Shit didn’t bother me personally, but I’d rather not get the stink eye from some nosy person looking over my shoulder.

Despite the thumbnail, this one is a win for the little dude.

Woah, a correct reference to “right to work” state. Nice!

I can also attest to the higher dues because of RTW policies. I was once in a union that included all the restaurant service workers at an American airport. The servers and bartenders made excellent money and it was a viable career, thus the union made sense.

But, our union also included the food court workers, who were generally younger and didn’t view their job as a career. Most of them opted out of paying dues as health care and future raises weren’t their concern.

There was also the issue of the servers paychecks being too low to pay dues as well. Since taxes had to be paid on credit card tips, our checks were often $0 so we had to manually pay dues. That never happened though…

Non-members need to go though. Pay your dues or go to another store.
