Is it also because the spiral is basically 2D, so from inside you can only see what's basically 1D (aka the visible band of the Milky Way)? We would literally not have the perspective to see very much the rest of the galaxy in our sky.
Amazing, too, that the Andromeda galaxy is so bright that we can see it from our galaxy.
Can I buy this as a poster somewhere? I love maps, and somehow don't have any space maps hanging up.
While I know there could be ghouls and zombies inside, that path somehow still makes me want to check it out. Very cool.

Amazing how many people seem to feel the same. A considered morality is important to me. But this is an unexpected twist on things that I just was not prepared for. I've been reconsidering a lot!

I agree that this person saying "you guys are next" is not a threat to the degree that it should be chargeable, and that she's being made an example of.
