Backup and History (self.standardnotes)

If I were to do a restore one day, would the backup contain the entire note history?

I have pro plan, so unlimited history, if it matters.

Is there a way to edit spacing in the app? I wanna minimize/ vary spacing in one note. One cannot do that, at the present? If one can, can anybody pls guide me as to how? Pls, thanks.

Hi to all, I'm one of the increasing number of people giving Notesnook a look as an alternative to Evernote, just started a trial and the ease of getting my stuff across from the elephant is already a big plus.

One thing I haven't found yet is whether it's possible to use a template to create a new note, or failing that, duplicate an existing note to use as a template. I do this a reasonable amount - certain calls I take where I can quickly launch a new note and have it use that format for quick information recording. Evernote made this harder a while ago by adding clicks to reach the custom templates. So far I haven't found where I can do something similar in Notesnook, is it there and I've missed it?

RIGHT ON TIME! NOTESNOOK IS NOW FULLY OPEN SOURCE!

Finally, finally, finally. It took us a while but we did it. You can grab the code & everything here:

Oh and if you still haven't, please star the repo! It matters a lot!

Afaik any JEDEC timings should work.

XMP isn't supported by the Intel Frameworks so I doubt EXPO will be supported by the AMD Frameworks.

There are 2 main ways for memory to instruct the computer on how fast the computer should communicate with the memory: JEDEC and XMP (Intel's term)/EXPO (AMD's term)

JEDEC is supposed to be present on all ram and is the default speed of the RAM modules. JEDEC is supposed to be super stable and low power. XMP/EXPO is a faster speed (not present on all ram) that can be optionally enabled at the cost of usually having higher power consumption and possibly worse stability (although the Intel Frameworks don't have an option to enable it so I doubt the AND ones will).

Afaik JEDEC only allows 4 timing configurations for DDR5-5600 ram (the first number of each is the cas latency): 40-40-40, 46-45-45, 46-46-46, and 50-49-49.

What memory are you looking at? Afaik the only laptop DDR5-5600 with a cas latency of 40 that is currently available is from Kingston, however they are claiming to be using their own custom alternative to JEDEC/XMP/EXPO that I have no clue of the compatibility of.

The fastest JEDEC DDR5-5600 that I know of is from Crucial and has timings of 46-45-45.

If you're doing something that benefits a lot from better timings (many CPU intensive tasks) you could also consider stepping down to 5200 MT/s ram as G.Skill has some available with JEDEC timings of 38-38-38 (equivalent latency to 41-41-41 DDR5-5600).

documentation from Micron (page 393 of this) that lists the JEDEC speed bins in the DDR5 spec. (JESD401-5A)
