Open your videos in Incognito mode, the block is cookie-based. I open YT on my browser in normal mode to see all my subscriptions, then open the videos in incognito with adblock enabled.

Google Maps actually sucks for things like hiking and trails, there's a lot of better alternatives like Maps.me.

I'm ok with In-video sponsors though. You can always skip them (unlike YouTube ads) and the money goes straight to the content creator.

Clear your cookies. The blocking is based in cookies and not your account as far as I can tell.

I was using elementaryos because it looked nice and had a debian base for stability but I don't like the direction it is going so I am looking for something that is a little out of my comfort zone but not as crazy as arch. Bonus points if it supports KDE.

The problem is Cortana or clippy or whatever they call it now sucks. I've never found its suggestions to be helpful. Google assistant has been helpful at least once in a while.

The bigger they are, the easier they are to repair. So repairable phones in general are going to be on the bigger side.
