The unfortunate reality is most people would rather choose "Joy" pills rather than face the realities that are required to be faced if we want to fix everything.

The gender identity of your work places energy is not the damn problem. Raise the damn pay. People will work in a sewer if you paid enough.

That because of the quality of the people with the capital. They hoard it, everyone eeks out survival, and the world goes to pot. If people with good ideas but no money had support to put their ideas into action, we would see change. But instead of harvesting hydrogen from water, and figuring out a low cost cooling method, we get "let's mine/frack for hydrogen!" Like more mining/fracking is going to solve the problems mining and fracking are causing. Mine the asteroid belt, fine. But leave the earth alone, once you put chemicals into dirt it's shockingly difficult to remove, that's why clean up operations usually just replace the dirt, and old dirt is carbonized or ran through a wash to remove chemical spills... Don't put crap into the soil and it doesn't cause problems or need to be removed. But the people with the capital would rather dump chemicals in ground, and water, instead of finding a company that would buy the chemical waste for their own industrial purposes. Don't tell me it's capitalism when the people destroying the planet are literally losing money with their actions. It's inbred idiots that should have never gotten their job other than knowing someone, or being related to someone. The same crap would happen under socialism by the same rich "elite" inbreds.

Sometimes the smartest person in the room is a woman. By refusing to educated women, they are limiting the intellectual growth and capabilities of their own culture. Cultures with fair, balanced rules, and systems of living, for everyone regardless of race, gender, or any other thing people imagine matters, will have a stronger society in almost all aspects from that alone. Because most of the things people imagine matter. Don't. In fact, what matters, is the actual intellectual capabilities of the individual, not how you or anyone else perceives them.

In the current landscape of the distro wars, admitting you just jumped sides is grounds to call forth the raiders from your old distro, they know the distro specific vulnerabilities and will unleash a fury of which you have never seen. The first sign will be a blinking hard drive light...

This is definitely in my top 10 reasons to be single in January. I'd also throw my shoe, but I have weird feet and it costs a lot to replace them, and once you touch it, The pinworms have it.

They stopped leading from the middle, you lead this country from the middle of the row politics, and to support a strong middle class. Neither of those are being done by either party and people are desperate for a return to THAT normalcy. One where an honest days work is able to pay for a room, a meal, and transportation to a job site, and where a full time job affords you a comfortable life where you aren't constantly trying to figure out if you're doing without, or increasing debt for bare necessities. The new world order is already here, that's what we are seeing. A world where no matter the social system a small group of inbreds with all the resources are going to steal everything they think might be of value, and dole out just enough to keep us fighting over what equates to less than 1% of the actual available resources on this planet at any given time. The breaking down is the breaking down of the middle class.

Those that live in glass houses can throw the first stone.

I was all for the fire when it was taking the homes of people that have never lost everything, and had regularly taken everything from others(palisades), but there's poor people that barely have living situations having that taken from them, and people that genuinely earned everything they have(Mel Gibson, hate him or love him he started poor), it's unfortunate to see people losing everything they had picked out to make themselves at home. Even tho it's actually pretty cool to say "relieved of my physical belongings", and irresponsible to say an animal dewormed definitively cured cancer when it truly could have created a genuine placebo effect and their body curied cancer. Bodies cure cancer all the time. It wouldn't be a stretch to assume a placebo effect stirred a persons own immune system to cure a nasty bout if it wasn't already weakened by radiation treatment. Not out of the realm of possibility, but unfortunately not very reproducible... But I digress, the people that are working, and or earned already everything they have is a definitive tragedy. I understand not caring about the Hollywood 1%, but the poor, once it reaches their door step it's everybody's problem. Cuz if they let it happen to them, they will let it happen to you, an me.
