So in the 90s you bought a couple of years old at most 9 years old, and your comparison is buying a car now in 2024 that is 18 years old, for twice what you bought your car in the 90s.

300-400 for an average priced car plus 200-400 of car insurance

Car insurance is getting super expensive even more so for younger folks. My renewal came in with GEICO and they raised my 6mo premium from $2500 to $3300. So I got a bunch of quotes from different companies all of them were around $3500-$4000 matching the same coverage. It's insane.

It really did! I actually cried a few times while reading the series when important people died 🥲

Pendragon by Dj Machale, long series like Harry Potter that grows up with the reader as the series goes on and becomes more adultish and darker. It's similar main character plot of a kid who was nothing to becoming the hero. It's my favorite series ever!

The Summoner by Taran Matharu, also very similar zero to hero story, but also very fantasy where a peasant worthless kid gets inducted into a magic arts school and also becomes a very important hero. It's story is actually very interesting

Why are they wearing masks now? Couldn't do it in 2020?

I always start my files with iso8601, except on s3 it doesn't like the colon. Gotta replace the colons lol

The date format isn't even human readable (at least in American). It should be Sun, Jan 14th
