Does the lack of back support not cause issues? I feel like I’ll go into a slouch position if I have nothing to lean on.

It would be a good idea to explore Linux if you care about all the telemetry Windows collects. There are distros out there that are so user friendly that someone using Windows their entire life can hit the ground running, like Linux Mint.
Security issues aside, it’s not designed to be a messenger app anyway.

Protonmail’s interface and mobile app is more refined and faster than Tutanota’s, and PM has more features on their free tier than what Tutanota provides on their free tier. Having said that, both are great email providers. I have accounts on both but I tend to use PM more at this point in time.
I went Alien Blue > Antenna > Narwhal. I think the latter 2 were similar to the original AB. Apollo just felt too cluttered and “extra” to me. I just wanted a minimalist app.

I think they're doing fine as is. We'll just drive more traffic to reddit if people on here who haven't joined yet start participating. The fact that they also force you to use the official app and new.reddit to see it (and probably participate too) makes it worse. I only browse the site using old.reddit so that's already a no for me.
I have both Memmy and Mlem and I switch between them every time one releases an update to see who's better.
Not really a firefox answer, but you can try Adguard or Aha DNS Blitz. i also recently discovered Orion browser, which allows you to install FF extensions like uBO.
