They recently broke hwid, but was recently fixed as of 2.2. The other method worked fine still

Better is subjective. But it does have some improvements that I think are worth it. The UI changes (rounded corners , center task bar) are nice but you can change it back to left aligned if you want.

Settings for simplified a tad , esp for things like static ip and dns. Y

Windows remembers your monitor and window locations upon docking and undocking.

Windows explore tabs are nice too.

Overall I wouldn’t go back (I’ve tried) but if you look at the features and they aren’t worth jt then 10 is all you need.

You’ll piss off family members potentially , even with the default settings. Google advert links , like the ad links at the top of Google searches will just fail. This is probably a good thing to most people but it’s still someone you should be aware of and have to train family members or roommates on.

Also , if you’re going to go this route you should probably set up a secondary server or use an external one just incase your pi goes down.

Meh. I pondered this but leaving it helps users still using the platform.

The idea is fine. Still trusting lastpass was the bad idea. Others have much better implementations to protector your vault and don’t drop the ball on security time after time.

For Macs: I use Time Machine backups on unraid (nothing fancy but it has built in settings to support it effortlessly). There’s also https://hub.docker.com/r/mbentley/timemachine that I tried out a year ago.

I haven’t tried over vpn but as long as you can mount the share , it should be fine.

I will have to suggest ovpn. Minus it being slightly more difficult to search issues because it’s too similar to openvpn , I’ve been super happy with it for my use case. I ended up choosing them over mullvad because of the port forwarding issue.

It really isn’t. There’s so many free skins that look good and are better than the battlepass ones that I haven’t been tempted to buy it. It’s just been cool to hate on Diablo.

The season is whatever but it let me start a new character and I’m having a lot of fun after the barb buffs. Minus the performance issues in social spaces , it’s still a lot of fun. But I guess you get downvoted gif having an opinion… thought this wasn’t Reddit

The community documentation is really good; this makes it super easy to find out how to do something or fix an issue. Adding a drive is super easy , and doesn’t require all the drives to be the same size, you can mix and match. It also supports docker on top of all of that. If you’re willing to manage all of that yourself from scratch , then I doubt you’d like it. It’s convenient for most people that don’t want to spend a lot of time managing and troubleshooting their nas.

Getting out of your car with the Kia boys around. (Minus maybe the 3rd one)
