So casually mentioning two 100 hours game for one month π
What didn't you like about Live a Live? Was hoping to play it some day.
Didn't play any JRPG in February, though I did finish my Xenoblade Chronicles 3: Future Redeemed playthrough on 1st Feb, so I guess we can count that.
Haven't started any RPG after that cause I can sometimes burn out playing long RPGs back-to-back, and I want to start Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definite Edition this month. Plan to pre-load and start playing day-1. Can't wait!
Well Souls-like become a genre after Dark Souls, previously it was just a difficult Action RPG game.
I haven't played Returnal yet though, does it introduce no newer mechanics (or a new take on existing mechanics) that can have it stand as it's own sub-genre?
All it takes is few unique mechanics that other start using, and people calling it "Returnal-like" or something. But if it doesn't have anything unique like that, which other may copy, then I doubt it.
I agree with you, before this post, I was under the impression that Avowed has been a win.
Let's hope we get some numbers soon.
I will get digital but will probably pre-order, mainly just to pre-load the game.
That was fan translation or official translation? Sounds tough, glad they are localized and easily available now.
I have heard of Kid Dracula, but not Kid Dracula. Didn't know there was a NES version.
How are you liking MH: W? I have heard there are performance issues?
Ah, lol. I though you mistook it for this week's post. No worries π
Rabi-Ribi post game sounds brutal. Good luck.
Sad about the visuals on Switch, hope they release a patch for Switch 2.
Itβs almost universally considered one of the best in the series, and one my favorites to this day. Hope you enjoy it!
Yeah, I remember you mentioning that before. The start (first case) was pretty strong, would love to see where it goes from here.
Heh, that's interesting. I have never been a huge pixel-art fan (though some of those look really good), so I won't say it looks nice, but I love beat 'em up and run and shoot games, so happy about that.
Really glad to see anything Terminator again, I wonder how this game got made. Devs went to rights holder, or rights holder wanted some game made.
Is it your first Monster Hunter game? They are somewhat of a niche games, and also take a bit to click, so give it some time and see if it's something you'll enjoy or not.
