The P1S by Bambu Labs, while not the cheapest (on sale now for 550$ without an ams) pretty much just works.

I've done PLA and PETG (various brands) using default settings and the thing just works. I've also used polycarbonate but that required a small amount of tweaking.

I guess it also depends on what you're trying to print. If you are going to be printing figurines that you will paint, you might be better off getting a resin printer, though I can't speak much to those as I haven't used them, but we do use anycubic at work and I've seen some pretty good looking models come out of them.

I've also heard good things about the A1/A1 mini (also Bambu) from coworkers.

We probably have 30 or so 3D printers at work including a nylon powder 3D printer which is amazing but I'm not sure of the brand, and it's probably expensive because it stands about 4.5 ft tall.

Those are tetrapods, or wave breakers.

I suppose water caltrops is fitting though lol.

I've had that same issue before.

Thank you for fixing it!

That makes more sense.

That is more defined of an answer. It would be great to see a reliable method of being able to share games with other users.

Found this growing alongside some green moss underneath/behind a waterfall.

I feel like if they would have put Choice 1, Choice 2 or 1st Choice, 2nd Choice it might have gone over better.

I mean, it's not like it doesn't make sense how it is, but it could have been simplified even further. Some people apparently need that.

Could have easily been written that way on purpose also to discourage people from using it.

I mean it's just like asking a kid what they want for Christmas. If you ask them to give you a list they will probably let you know exactly which ones they want the most. It's really not that difficult but people often overthink these things and this is what you end up with.

Same, I've always just rounded up. Even when it comes to things like .50¢ I still just round it up to the next dollar.

This is nowhere near the "live-action sonic vibes" that the article is claiming.

The person writing the article says stitch isn't blue enough and proceeds to show the worst fucking picture possible.

If you watch the video from the debut, he is clearly very blue and does not look that bad.

Giveaways should not be banned.

It could help to bring more people to your community.

It would be better to have a very simple couple of rules.

No posting the codes outright. Simple mechanic for giving the code out like guess the number, or first to comment. State the source (Steam, GOG, Epic)

Like literally all you need, and yes I'm salty because I was literally just trying to give away a game because I have a code for something that is already in my library.

Don't ban things that are beneficial to others. "We prohibit giveaways because we cannot be sure that the person holding the giveaway will actually do what they promise." is not a valid enough reason to ban giveaways. Someone is offering something up, if they don't commit, then ban them, not the practice of generosity.

Edit: added a comma

It's really not. It's really uncommon for stuff like that to happen.

Just like when I was a kid, it was drilled into our heads on how people would be hiding drugs and other things in our candy.

Never once did it happen. Not because I got lucky, but because it just really isn't a thing like they preach.

Should you still check your kids candy, absolutely, less so because of some nefarious activities and more just in case something is bad or gets nasty in some way like rain and paper m&m packets etc.

Edit: put too instead of to

Totally fair point.

For anyone that's interested since someone covered up the QR code for seemingly no reason.

Another Bug (lemmy.world)

If anyone has any experience with Unified Remote, I could use a little help.

I'm in the process of making a button board for ATS/ETS2 Truck sim games.

I have everything working except for one button.

I am trying to make the button dual function. I press it once and it holds down a key, press it again and it releases.

I can get it to hold the button down fine, but I'm having some trouble getting it to use a secondary function to release the key. I can just hit another button on the board and it stops which is fine, but not really as graceful as I would like.

I did read through their GitHub documentation but I don't see any info on specifically what I'm trying to do.
