I listen to a couple of gaming podcasts for news. Mainly the podcasts by Last Stand Media. They do a PlayStation one called Sacred Symbols, an Xbox one called Defining Duke and a Nintendo one called Punching Up. I enjoy all of the quite a bit.

They're all free to listen to, so you can check them out to see if you're into them.

No worries, that's good enough. Thank you. :)

I'm definitely watching. The first match just finished. So happy for New Zealand. It's always fun when the hosts have success in their tournament.

Do you have any videos or Websites that I could check out for reference? I've never done foam rolling so I would like to learn first to do it properly. Thanks

Good to know I'll target those areas. Thank you!

I get what you're saying for sure. When it first happened like 5 years ago I went straight to a orthopedic doctor because I had no idea what was wrong and he just kinda treated me super shittily and I ended up paying more than 500 € for PRP injections on my knee cause he said that might help. It of course didn't, it just hurt like a bitch and cost a lot of money. He didn't even tell me it was the IT band. That I found out by myself months later.

Last year I went to a physio after I went hiking and it was hurting a lot. She helped me a lot with massages and stretchs, but I was in another country so it's no like I could see her again.

I live in Germany at the moment and have tried to fix it by myself but maybe I should go to a professional here. Even though I assume it'll be veeeery expensive. 🙈

Thanks for your input!

I've be suffering from IT band pain for years now and I kinda neglected it by just not running anymore and sticking to low impact exercises. I would like to one day run long distances again though.

Has anyone here advice on how to overcome this? I've watched many YouTube video on stretches and strengthening workouts but I'm not sure if it all work or if some are particularly more effective than others.

Would love some advice.

It's a game. In the UT mode you can use players in your team that have long been retired or dead. You have cards that make up crazy what ifs scenarios, like what if Ronaldo was a center back or Messi a right back (don't know if those cards actually exist but you get the point). You can make crazy teams that are completely unrealistic. Now they are expanding that with women.

I don't see the issue personally. I just played it for fun and to make crazy teams. My front line right now is Leao, Raúl and Mahrez. Wouldn't mind changing Mahrez for Beath Mead just for fun. 🙂

Just a small heads-up from another RPG fan, this game really isn't an rpg. Don't go into it expecting complex and fleshed out rpg elements, because you will be a bit disappointed. I definitely was in the first 15 hours as a long time FF fan.

Later though I changed the way I was looking at the game and I'm now enjoying it as an action game. I'm not really paying attention to leveling up and equipment, and I'm having way more fun now. More DMC style.

Just enjoy the story, the combat and forget about the rpg-ness of it. 😄

I'm currently reading Chibola Burn, the forth book in The Expanse series. Really enjoying it, specially since the third one was my least favorite of the first three. So it feels good to be loving a book in the series again.

I would recommend the series to fans of somewhat believable sci-fi.
