I love my weather station. The original problem I had was weather data for my area was inaccurate relative to where I lived. Today we hit 107.2F at my house, the weather station over 5 miles away registered 101F. I knew it was hot but I’m given comfort knowing that what I’m feeling is more in line with the weather station is reporting.

Anything to do with the internet or even your home network, I call them network gremlins. When a network wire that is not reporting any errors can be replaced to fix packet loss or file sharing issues is wild to me.

Playing through Astalon: Tears of the Earth right now. I seem to gravitate to metroidvania games and the last one I played was Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom. The game really lives up to the genre and what makes this one unique is that there are so many screens that it’s near impossible to follow a strategy guide.

Another cool feature is the story gets embedded into every time you die. There’s a reason you keep coming back to life and it’s not because you ran out of health and have to start over. I appreciate when developers put some thought into the experience when you put over a 100 hours into the game.

Definitely would recommend if you’re into Metroidvania games.

A1: LG HDR WQHD A2: Yes A3: it uses two sources, not sure what you mean by 1 source unless you mean 1 source has two separate hdmi cables and if that’s the case then yes. The only other way is to use something like xrandr for linux

Love the ultra wide and would probably go for a newer variant. The only thing I don’t like is using kvm switches with these monitors because the systems go to sleep and the monitor turns off. This means that I’m always fussing about trying to wake the computer/kvm with multiple key presses until it wakes up. Not unique to ultra wide but more noticeable when using these screens usually mean you want more than one source.

Reflecting on my previously 3 long distance relationships - I’d say a lot of time passes when there is distance.

Conversations are great, it’s like you have a best friend you can confide everything in. Then when you do have the chance to see someone after 6 months is going to take a little bit of time to warm up. Times together are amazing and then you have to go back home. Then you rinse and repeat the whole process.

I feel like I could have met some people in between all that time and matured relationship wise due to facing whatever issue in real time. With distance, you’re kind of stranded from trying to fix or talk things through when there is miscommunication or some mishap that happens.

If you have the patience and don’t mind the time that comes with distance then it might work out for you.

  • Would love pagination (every 25 posts it would show a page and it helped prevent me from endless scrolling)
  • Would love to see greyed out posts so I know what I read and haven’t read
