Also, if Windows was ever activated on that machine, it's good to go forever. Far quicker to reinstall and wipe (as part of the process) than mucking around removing crap.

When I was young, and far more temperamental, shit like this is why I said I could never be a cop. Imagine pulling this idiot over for a routine stop, for obvious reasons. And then getting a face full of insane argument.

"Step out of the car or I'm taking my nightstick, bashing all the windows and headlights, then I will remove you from the car. And have it towed to impound. While you're in jail."

I watched SovCit YouTube videos for an evening and the cops and judges were insanely nice to these people. I couldn't handle it.

Exactly my take. Private security is chicken-change to these guys. They'll spend more money demonizing the shooter(s) in the headlines and social media.

Three other thoughts:

The shooter was apparently very motivated.
He'll likely never get caught, unless he was really stupid or talks.
