Executive Orders are closer to press releases than they are to law. They can say pretty much anything - whether those things are enforceable or even consistent with reality is up to the courts.

If I was a brain worm that had taken control of a US politician, the first thing I would do is say that the worm is dead.

Yup. Used to do this with Reddit. I'd find a niche subreddit on some topic I was having trouble with, try and write a detailed post of what my problem was, try and include as much information as I already knew and checked, proofread it so I could ensure people understood what my problem was, and in the process something would click and I'd figure it out.

"he has to" does he though? He has enough money for him and his entire lineage to live lavishly for eternity. He can dip out today and stop working forever, relax on a beach, and disconnect from the world like Tom from MySpace did.

He's not being forced to do anything.

Most people (I hope, I don't tune in too much) deny that the climate is changing. They just deny that human activity is causing it.

So they see all the wildfires and hurricanes and heatwaves and biodiversity collapse and coral bleaching and give a big shrug and "eh, whaddyagunnadoaboutit"

He's completely set with pensions. And I am unsure if index funds were specifically ruled out. The article doesn't really detail his wealth, and there's no way someone with his intelligence and pragmatism has completely bungled his finances.

Whoever replaces Biden will still immediately get the "I would vote for a literal hamster instead of Trump" crowd which is like 40% of the nation.

There's a CVS near me with an obnoxious floodlight stand thing with speakers playing some message about how this parking lot is under surveillance. Nothing else like it in the area.

They don't care about hypocrisy.

I don't think this is going to energize anyone four months from now. Attention spans are too short.

Before 2016 I didn't know much about him aside from he's a rich dude with a golden tower who used to host a show. I can see someone not really paying attention i. 2016 and voting for him just because.
