That’s not great, I’ve got the 2024 model x and still have been finding that the whole Tesla Vision system to be a bit of a novelty. Definitely not ready for prime time. Nothing as serious as phantom breaking, but the inconsistencies of the alert system are annoying, especially when you are nowhere near the side of the road or the car breaking in front of you is three car lengths away.

Glad you made it through without a collision.

I haven’t had an incident with phantom breaking, but I have noticed that you can’t always count on the regen to slow the car same way every time.

And every once in a while my brain will still think I’m driving a combustion engine and I’ll take my foot off the accelerator too much and slow/break the car, I could imagine that being a problem for the driver behind me.

Does the phantom breaking happen during FSD or while you are manually driving the car?

My parent’s neighborhood had a home that over decorated like this, but for Halloween. The town did something similar. Somehow classifying what they were doing as an event, requiring them to get a permit and “event” insurance.

Prior to this on Halloween during trick or treating hours, the volunteer emergency services dept. (bouncers for town events) would close off the street because of all the people, mostly kids everywhere. Which turned into a problem, the over decorators lived on a well traveled route that went in and out of the subdivision.

If you were driving an emergency vehicle, you probably would have no idea this was going on unless you lived in the subdivision.

And they had the charity angle too, but I don’t think they had any idea what the true cost of putting on the show was. Mostly because they weren’t paying for it.

Having driven a Tesla I would guess 60% is the no buttons all touch screen design, 30% bad/distracting driving, 10% FSD.

Works well with Proton on the Steam Deck. Need to use Steam button + trackpad to move the mouse to configure controls in-game, then map those buttons to the keyboard keys in the Steam controller settings.

I agree.

I suppose the reason is, they haven’t been selling enough cookers as of late. When I opened the app there was a notification stating the Bluetooth would be disabled from the app and here is a discount coupon to buy a new one.

I like using the thing, but usually it is easier to just use the stovetop, so my cooker doesn’t see a ton of action, I would assume that is the case for most people. And thats probably why I have a 10 year old cooker the still works great.

Even though I don’t use the cooker often and it is totally functional without the app, it’s really disappointing, especially when they could just leave the Bluetooth alone, the only reason they are removing it is to get me to buy another one.

I have a Leonberger and raised garden beds so they’re at the perfect height for her to checkout what happening in the bed. She always seems to find these bunnies before I do. When they are big enough she’ll take them out of the bed and try her best to snuggle with them. Nothing gruesome, she’s trying her best to have a friend.

Worst part I’m allergic to rabbits.
