I'm gonna have to go with Bernie's leadership on this one.

I trust him more than either of negotiating leads.

Your point on the demographics is key though. At some point, something's got to give. Unions and GoP don't mix, and for labor to not actively fight Trump is like shooting yourself in the face. It is so fucking short sighted and TERRIBLE leadership. It is leopards ate my face level stupidity.

I appreciate your post but I disagree with your premise on cost. It is not worth it if you are a company looking for a quick turn around, but it is still the cheapest long term. Also waste is not the issue it once was, though it is still an issue.

The biggest issue with nuclear is NIMBYism and stigma. (And going with lowest bidder contractors)

Maine Coons and NFC's are the best looking cats.

When that major drama unfolded with him getting booted then re-hired. It was super fucking obvious that it was all about the money, the data, and the salesmanship He is nothing but a fucking tech-bro. Part Theranos, part Musk, part SBF, part (whatever that pharma asshat was), and all fucking douchebag.

AI is fucking snake oil and an excuse to scrape every bit of data like it's collecting every skin cell dropping off of you.

And it's blocked by a lawsuit in another state.

$1.5 billion won't actually get you a whole lot.

Better than nothing though. Considering utilities can do this as cap projects, I feel like this money is better spent on bridges/roads.

Who is going to own the infrastructure when it is complete? Outside of like three main utilities, there are no state owned utilities. (Tennessee, Bonneville, and LCRA, I believe).

Jesus Christ is it unfair too.

The hoops my wife has to jump through, to look a certain age professionally, that I just never even had to consider, as a man.

When she was younger, she had to look older, to be taken seriously, now that she's older, she has to not look so old, to be taken seriously.

The biggest shock in my life though? When she went to work for a company that provided services to get international companies, she found men from Europe to be much more sexist. Well, the way she put it was, she didn't know if they were more sexist or more comfortable being sexist.

When they visited the office, she had to wear a dress, no "pants suits" as they put it, and had to have heels.

Was routinely excluded from social events. Was always the one asked to take notes, get coffee, etc. She also said they were more overtly racist as well.

I was surprised considering I was raised online to believe that Texas is the bastion of hate and racism.

~~They could say anything and we would not know what the real truth was, so of course they would say something that would cast a poor light on Israel...~~

eh, at this point I don't give a shit. Fuck Bibi in his genocidal ass.

Who is he talking to when he says, "People never gave a shit about us until now, when they finally realized that the chain is being broke now,"

People know who longshoremen are. They deserve fair wage and benefits as much as anyone else.

I mean I didn't give much more thought about longshoreman than I did about a poleman, or a miner, or the farmer growing my food. I don't expect them to give a shit about me either.

So I support them, yes. In the sense that I'm not going to whine about the impact of their strike on my own life. I'm certainly not going to support the industry that is not bargaining with them in good faith.

But why is there animosity towards anyone other than the companies they are bargaining with?

So I am guessing that they cherry picked that quote just for the reason that out of context it makes him sound kinda bitchy?

Guy does need someone to help him with talking points though. They have a lot going for their side, they don't need to fuck it up with bad press.

That makes sense. You should call that something, like economic flow down, or trickle finances.

I don't know, I'm just not good with words.

He made shit up. How is gaslighting a dominant performance?

Illegal immigrants are why housing prices are high?

WTF NYT?!

Go fuck yourselves and do some fucking fact checking. Get that GoP cock out of your mouth.
