Your Dad was doing everyone a favor. So many people don't take the shit down in public right of ways.

A lot of Republican cans hate Ted Cruz here in Texas. They can't stand him. They think he's an ass.
But he's a Republican and that's all they fucking see in that booth.
Look at who is in office.
The governor, the Lt. governor, the state AG. They are ALL really terrible people, doing really terrible things. And the Republicans here don't give a shit.
The problem is getting the left to fucking vote.
And that cunt, Kim Ogg in Houston, endorsed Ted Cruz. (Side note, there's something rotten in Houston right now though and I have no idea what's going on. I have NO idea who to trust anymore.)
Glad at least some labor leadership aren't fucking idiots.
I understand their problem though, and it's a tough one, but if they want real strength, they should tackle it the right way.
Yeah, not sure this will play out the same way, considering the recent news.
I'm almost 50, and this hits hard. So many things from my youth have blended together. Almost nothing from before I was 10 now.
That is one thing I do like about the phone in my pocket. I have a constant stream of photos now, of mine and my family's life. It's not just a random photo of a birthday here or there that survives, but an almost living journal.
Sorry, don't mean to be down, but back to the original story...
I actually didn't remember about the F-14 and the Sparrow missile and thought you were just thinking of the aircraft that ran into its own bullets. I wrote my reply that way and thought, maybe I should actually do some research because maybe I don't have the best memory, lol.
So you helped me remember too.
I think you might be conflating with this story.
The F-14 was testing the missile launch system, and the engineers failed to consider all the factors of the test missile and the system, causing it to not successfully clear the aircraft on launch, damaging the aircraft. Not really shooting itself down, or a failure of the F-14 design.
But to your real point, yeah, shit happens.
Marketing to children I see. Trying to trap young, impressionable children, in the world of programming in Perl.
So an airfield is not giving permission to land?
An airfield is not the FAA/FEMA.
Did they file a flight plan. Did this helicopter call Musk while it was to flying around? What, does it have an Elon bat-phone in the cockpit?
How much supplies can a civilian helicopter carry?
Answer not a whole lot and is a terribly inefficient way to transport supplies to an airfield. Helicopters are best for getting into hard to reach locations to pull people out and get them to hospitals.
My guess is some rich friends tried to make an unplanned trip and wanted to land and/or get gas and were told to fuck off. Or something along those lines.
I agree. What he did was wrong and I can empathize why the victims would feel violated and terrified.
But also yes, what he did was clearly not malicious. Two years is HARSH. Dude needs help, not a beat down.
I see where the U.S. gets its criminal punishment tendencies from. We learned from Papa U.K. Except, there is a nonzero chance he would have been shot over here, (~~or killed by the cops~~, wait nevermind, he's not black) so at least he's got that going for him over there.
Considering how much hearing aids cost, the honus should be mostly on the hearing aid manufacturers. That shit is stupid expensive. Fuck Phonak, and I don't even have to pay for mine.
-Hearing aid wearer.
My complaint is ENTIRELY on its Bluetooth functionality. It does not play well with any phone and requires constant reinstalls of the app/connection whenever I get a new phone or aid, or the app gets updated.
It will show as connected but then not actually be connected for the purposes of audio delivery. Forget connecting to anything you can't install the app to either.
