she is still a tragic character - that maniac everyday face everyone see and react with tactful irritation is actually hiding an internal pain which was revealed few times in the shows. and tbh that worked well for both lwaxana's character design and portrayal by majel.

ive got philips body groomer which in time become somehow a curiosity: once its fully charged it runs until battery gets dry as it should but if i by any chance press the button i need to the whole cycle charge

nah, it wasn't complicated and tbh she made a good choice - saved those two from a transporter malfunction. imo it was an interesting episode (unlike the dozens centered around holodeck) but in no way they'd replace tim and ethan characters with tom wright's tuvix; it was just a "what if" story and years later, it still propellers endless discussions
