Because this is a gendered issue. Although men on average do slightly more paid labor, if you count total labor (both paid and domestic) women work more.

This has serious consequences for women’s careers and is a major relationship strain that men may not realize is happening.

Well documented observations are not politics. That’s just fact. How we decide to react to those facts is politics.

You definitely make money off adds. It’s not like TikTok. You get a percentage of all ad revenue. Depending on your audience you can live off ads alone.

The amount we spend in foreign aid is basically negligible (wars don’t count as aid).

By far, our biggest expenses are internal. The military-industrial complex and inefficient healthcare make almost all other spending a drop in the bucket.

This is where I’m at as well. I’ll add that massive wealth inequality is destructive to both society and democracy.

Learning languages! I’ve dabbled in many, gotten proficient in a few, and fluent in one so far.

I used to like public policy and poverty reduction, but it’s much harder for mental health - so I’m trying to focus on other interest.

It opens up you mind unlike almost anything else and feels like a superpower once you start to get a grasp of a new language.
