Coming again to save the mother fucking day, yeah!

update โ€” both versions now load the interface for me (Android), so guess I was wrong ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ‘

โ€”โ€”โ€”

So I guess for those of us logged in to a "black" instance, that will mean:

โ€” Re-installing the web app, as there's no interface to do the update with, and/or

โ€” Uninstall/reinstall (or cache wipe) of native app? Or maybe just wait for auto-update from Play Store? ๐Ÿค”

Either way, it seems like Voyager needs the ability to fail more gracefully in these situations.

Yup, that fixed it, now commenting from Voyager web app on Android > Chrome > Incognito, logged into lemmy.world.

If I go to my "installed" Voyager web app, still black screen, and that one is logged into BeeHaw.

So I can't say that this is only affecting Voyager x BeeHaw, but Voyager is definitely reacting differently to BeeHaw and lemmy.world accounts ๐Ÿ˜“

Just chiming in to say I'm having the same issues, split second of interface shows on launch and then black screen (Android, dark mode).

This is true for both my Native app and the web app.

One thing top add that nobody seems to have mentioned yet - both apps are (most likely) logged into #Beehaw. None of my other apps will load Beehaw, either, but Liftoff at least works with my lemmy.world account, but won't load anything from the Beehaw feed.

So could this be an issue with some instances (beehaw, in my case) combined with some Lemmy update, in combination with something in Voyagerapp?

Voyager is my favorite Lemmy client so this is a very annoying situation ๐Ÿ˜…

Guess I could try web app in Incognito, see if that works, maybe log into lemmy.world from there. Will update if anything changes ๐Ÿ‘

You simply push the left-hand side down again to close, works absolutely fine ๐Ÿ‘

Correct! If you look real close at the photo, it even says "lift" on the left-hand side.
